Thank you for joining us in our third online round, new and returning participants alike. The finals are coming into view, and we hope you’re finding our questions more mind-bending than ever!

This time, there were no perfect scores in the intermediate division and only one perfect scorer in the senior division. Alas, it took three rounds before Brian Chau of Woburn was finally able to decrown the young reigning champion, Zixiang Zhou. We’d burst into our Wildcats cheer now, but we know this victory may only be temporary. Round 4 is the only way to find out!

Hello Challengers!

Our 3rd online round of the 2018 season will be held on Friday, March 23rd, 2018 from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm ET. If you participated last year, you must still complete this year's registration form using the link on the registration page but you can continue using the same PEG Judge username.) If you participated in online rounds 1 or 2, please use the same WCI PEG Judge username and there's no need to register again.

If you are new to the Woburn Challenge, you can visit http://wcipeg.com/contests to check out some of the past contests and familiarize yourself with submitting solutions to our online grading environment (the PEG Judge). It is also a good idea to try and solve some of the problems on the WCIPEG website in order to sharpen your problem-solving prowess!

Thank you for joining us in this year’s Woburn Challenge, new and returning participants alike! It certainly did take us a couple of extra months to get things back in order this contest season – our sincerest apologies for the anticipation! However, you can be sure that we’re back now, ready to challenge you with new rules and a new intermediate division for the new year. 

We witnessed several perfect scores in all of the divisions, with Zixiang Zhou of University Heights Public School coming out on top of the senior division. Zixiang is only in grade 8. Wow! 2018 Season Update

Hi Challengers,

We have been hard at work re-organizing the contest that you know and love to make it even more amazing and accessible to students! Due to these structural changes, the 2017-18 season has been delayed to January. Worry not, however! We will be back in the new year with monthly rounds concluding in another amazing on-site finals in May.

2017 Finals Results

The Woburn Challenge 2016-17 on-site finals was a great success! This year, we witnessed 10 schools battle it out for the title of Woburn Challenge champion. In the end, Jason Yuen and William Wen of Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School came out on top of the senior and junior divisions respectively. We truly hope that you enjoyed tackling all the problems which we have so carefully prepared with love. Thank you to all the helping hands that made this event possible, as well as contestants and teachers alike, who stayed with us through to the end of the season.
